Art, for me, is like embarking on a journey with no
definitive destination in mind. While you may not always know where you're
headed, you'll always arrive where and when you need to. It is an act of being
present with the unravelling of the unseen and the unsaid at any given moment.

This can also be read as a continuous backdrop of my pieces
in both visual art and poetry. I rarely ever plan my work in advance. It is,
rather, a constant state of exploration for me. My creations are usually sparse
in style, embodying the concept of 'barely there'. It is because I believe that
you don't need much in life (I have a drawing with the same title, as well),
and that feeling bleeds through my work as well, whether it is visual art or
poetry. It is this very belief that makes for a visual language that is one of
simplicity and minimalism, which sometimes can also be seen as pushing
boundaries and challenging conventional techniques.

My inspiration comes from the childlike wonder that resides
within all of us, a pure and untainted perspective that allows us to appreciate
the world around us without prejudice and the need to be seen in a certain way.
This is exactly the kind of wind that can be attributed to the unrefined nature
of my artworks.

My work also carries a subtext of a subtle blend of humor
and depth, rendering it both entertaining and thought-provoking. Sometimes, it
issues a lighthearted escape from the mundane. At others, it slams like playful
absurdity.

| The overflow begins now |
Whichever direction it takes, it almost always reflects the
inherent playfulness of life because at the end of the day, I aspire to
serenade with a song of humor and wit, while never not drinking from the well
of sheer nonsense, whenever given the chance.
